Painting estimates
before you get in the truck.

Half the estimates you drive to are price shoppers. Let them see your range first, and the ones who call back are ready to book.

How it works

  1. The customer picks the job: interior rooms, exterior house, kitchen cabinets, or fence and deck
  2. They set the size: number of rooms, the home's square feet, cabinet doors or linear feet
  3. They add what applies: ceilings, trim and doors, drywall repair, pressure wash prep, stucco cracks
  4. They see your price range on the spot
  5. You get the lead with the job, the size, the add-ons and the number they saw

Your prices, your rules

Set a base price for each job, a rate per room, per square foot, per door or per foot, and a price for each add-on. Change them from your phone when paint goes up.

Why it matters

A two-hour round trip to quote a single bedroom costs you more than the bedroom is worth if they hire the cheapest guy. When the homeowner already saw $1,700 to $1,900 for three bedrooms, the walkthrough is to confirm colors and sheen, not to talk them down.

Frequently asked questions

Do I still do a walkthrough?

For most jobs, yes. The calculator gives a range from your rates; you confirm the scope, the prep and the colors in person, and the final number goes on the written estimate.

Can it price exteriors from the satellite map?

The exterior job is priced by the home’s square feet today. The customer types the size, usually from their listing or tax record.
